Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger (Transparent Casing)

Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger for studying heat transfer under parallel or counter flow with controlled hot water supply and full monitoring instrumentation.

Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger (Transparent Casing). The apparatus is used for studying the heat transfer through a concentric tube under parallel or counter flow conditions.

The unit consists of a concentric tube heat exchanger, and a service module. The module comprises a hot water tank with a transfer pump and instruments for monitoring and control. Parallel or counter flow is by switching cold water hoses with quick coupling. The unit requires outside water supply.

Construction arrangement	2 sections of stainless steel inner tube with transparent casing (borosilicate glass)

– Hot water pump
– Stainless steel hot water tank with level switch to prevent heater operation if level is too low
– Heater	3000 W
– Flow meters	Hot water Cold water
Temperature control unit to limit temperature of hot water to not more than 80°C
Software for data display and analysis by computer (separately supplied).
Power supply	220 V, 1 Ph, 50 Hz. Other power supply is available on request.
