Automotive Engine Test Bed
The equipment is intended for testing automotive engine.
The engine rests on four supports on one end of the test bed. The supports can be adjusted in three directions to accommodate different size engine. The dynamometer with speed and torque sensors rests on another end of the test bed. The engine is connected to the dynamometer by a double universal joint with a safety guard. Cooling of the engine and the dynamometer is by a cooling tower. A flexible stainless steel hose is provided for exhaust pipe connection. Engine throttle and dynamometer load control are by knobs.
Instruments are provided for measurement of dynamometer torque and speed, fuel flow rate, air flow rate and temperatures.
A fuel tank with fuel flow and air flow measuring instruments are on a stand next to the engine.

Industrial Diesel Test Bed
The test bed is intended for low speed, high torque industrial diesel engine.
The engine rests on its supports on a bed frame. The dynamometer can be either directly attached to the engine fly wheel or rests on its support and connected to the engine by a double universal joint with guard. Cooling of the engine and the dynamometer is by a cooling tower outside the engine room to minimize temperature rise. A thermo-static tank controls engine operating temperature. Engine throttle and dynamometer load control are by knobs.
Fuel tank and measuring instruments are in the engine room. Instrument panel with digital display and control buttons are in the control room.

Motor Cycle Dynamometer: Computer Interface
This is a floor mount chassis type dynamometer for testing motor cycle.
It consists of a platform on a steel frame, a medium inertia roll with traction grooves, a dynamometer with step up drive, an adjustable wheel base front mount, a roll on ramp and tie downs. Manual control for both dynamometer load and engine throttle.

This is a small test bed for a small gasoline or diesel engine.
The engine is connected by V-belt with a safety guard to an electric generator absorber dynamometer on the test bed. Heat from the generator is dissipated by heaters with a fan. Control of the generator load is by manual switches and of the engine throttle are manually controlled.
A fuel tank and air box are on a stand next to the engine.
