Area Moment Method
Area Moment Method apparatus verifies beam deflections and slopes using the area-moment method. For use with ST300 Universal Structural Frame.
Description
The equipment is used for verification of the deflections and slopes of a beam by area-moment method. It is to be used with ST300 Universal Structural Frame (separately supplied).
The beam has a moment support and one built-in / knife edge support. The supports allow longitudinal travel of the beam. The moment support has a rotating arm which is monitored by a dial indicator. The moment is applied and measured by load on the rotating arm. The beam deflection is measured by a dial indicator.
Instruction manual is also included.
